Conditions here are moderately wet.  We have received over 200% of "normal" rain fall for May and are over the 30-yer NOAA average to date this year.  Plants are dark green and appear very healthy.  The Haw River has been near bank full for the last week. Birds, squirrels, chipmunks and birds are all very active. the rain fall seems to have abated the "drought conditions" for central North Carolina.
